APPEARANCE : Citrus australis, the Dooja, round lime, Australian lime or Australian round lime, is a large shrub or small tree producing an edible fruit. The fruit have a thick rind and have a lot of oils present (they have been described as sticky golfballs); there may be a market for the oil in aromatherapy or perhaps the citrus oil cleaner market. The flesh is good and sharp tasting. The Dooja is common in its native habitat of the Araucarian vine forests from Brisbane north to Gympie.
