Mat Rush Lomandra confertifolia

APPEARANCE : Lomandra confertifolia is a species of perennial herbs in the genus Lomandra, Asparagaceae, subfamily Lomandroideae. It is native to Queensland, Australia. Although it appears grass-like, it is not in the grass family. A hardy and very easy care clumping grass-like perennial with bright green narrow foliage . Great as a border or pot plant, and looks good planted as a large swathe. If the foliage gets damaged in harsh weather, the plant can simply be cut back hard and it will resprout with fresh new growth.
