APPEARANCE : Leptospermum polygalifolium, commonly known as tantoon, jellybush or yellow tea tree, is a species of shrub or tree of the family Myrtaceae that is endemic to eastern Australia, including Lord Howe Island. Rounded shrub with light green leaves & pendulous branches Profuse white flowers in spring and summer are lovely in floral arrangements and attract birds, bees & other beneficial insects. Makes a good rockery or screen. Can be pruned Frost hardy.
